The sundress has

Error: <<switch>>: bad evaluation: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'slot')Error: <<switch>>: bad evaluation: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'fit')Error: <<if>>: bad conditional expression in <<if>> clause: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'canremove')

When trying to wear it and it's description in the inventory says

Error: <<if>>: bad conditional expression in <<if>> clause: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'includes')

It says I'm wearing it when it looks like I'm not

You aren't able to put on your $equipname, since you aren't able to get your Cursed Sundress of Digestion off!

Yay, cribmis update (0.6.3)! So generous! Whiiich is why I hate to report right off the bat some of dem bugs you mentioned might happen:

(Although, I do love the sneak-peek I got at seeing just how much more attention you've put into descriptions and such; I shall avert mine eyes for now so I can see them in proper form once debugged, but I am super looking forward to it!!)

For 6.1.2, on both the online and downloaded versions, this error occurs along the left side upon selecting a class and starting the game proper. Oddly enough, even though the errors stretch further down the screen and include stats and equipment, an unaltered stat board can also be seen if one scrolls down.

Yeah, V0.6.1 is no good. I plan on pushing out V0.7 (or V0.6.2 if I don't get all the things I want in on time) ASAP to try and fix all the bugs and finish the Clothing System. For now, I recommend sticking to V0.6.0.5.

EDIT: It is now patched, by the way.

Awesome! This game has been a long-time delight that has only gotten better, so I'm excited to see what you've brought to it this time. Funnily enough, I have never given the Noble a shot, so this current playthrough with her has been a ton of fun, so to speak. I'll be sure to give the Criminal and Mage their own shots as well shortly to see what their unique wearables bring to the mix!

EDIT: Changed "Exile" to "Criminal" to match its designation at the beginning of the game when selecting a class.

(This comment kind of ended up becoming a "bugs/things I've noticed" kind of post, sorry for that)

- So, something I've noticed, or rather haven't noticed, is the event from the Witch in the Gingerbread House. I remember seeing it once, so I must have triggered it whilst pushing through the ill-fated 6.1 update, but I haven't seen it once in any 6.2 update thus far, neither online nor downloaded. I may simply be unlucky, though, so I will continue to prod the RNG!

- I am really eager to see more on hats, though, whether they be descriptions or even effects! Honestly, your incorporation of clothing stuff has me hopeful for the eventual possible inclusion of something I would SUPER love to see: physical descriptions of the player's body/clothing varying by Fullness as well as by Weight.

- Something I have noticed that seems to have flown largely under the radar is that walking around Vielessen without the back button can be dangerous, especially in the Market District and the Southern District. Those areas occasionally lose their pathways to other pages, softlocking the player and forcing one to load a previous save if one is playing the challenge mode that removes the back button.

- While I'm mentioning stuff I've noticed, I believe I should mention that the gatehouse in Vielessen is still a tad irregular. One can still leave the city *once* without having joined the Adventurer's Guild. Then, after that one time, the Vielessen city guard does her job. Only, she seems to do it every time going forward, forgetting that the player has already proven her licensure to be an adventurer. Also, the Vielessen city guard offers the player a warning about a woods identical to the Dechrau city guard after the first couple paragraphs.

- Eating from the Gingerbread House sets the player to Stuffed even if she is already at Stuffed or Full To Bursting.

- Consumables are infinite during fights right now, I think. Just noticed with Potions and Apples, both on Puddings, Eclair Boas, and Pastry Constructs, so it seems to just happen with any enemy as well.

- Ah, probably the most important thing just came to mind, but it should hopefully be the easiest since it's just a numbers thing. If the player has 1 AGI and they receive a (-1) AGI debuff—as one might expect to upon possessing a certain range of Weight—then running away from encounters becomes 100% guaranteed.

Actually, I tried it twice again just now, once without gaining any Weight as the Merchant, once as an underweight Mage (after working at the Inn for a month, yay, fun, lol). The Merchant could get away some of the time at AGI: 1 as one might expect, but the poor Mage with AGI: 1 (+1) couldn't escape from those Puddings even once! I am unsure if it is having a net AGI of 0 results in guaranteed escapes from encounters, or if the values of the AGI buffs/debuffs are reversed or something.

I hope you found any of this helpful!

Oof, didn't see this post until after I posted 0.6.3. I'll have to get to work on going through these bugs tomorrow.

EDIT: Also: Good news on that last part of Item 2!

EDIT 2: Patch V0.6.3.1 is out, and it should hopefully have sorted out most of those bugs.

Love this game!! Very intuitive and surprisingly fleshed out.

Though I am currently stuck heehee I have a cake recipe and an amulet that I don’t know how to use 🤨

(+3)

Apologies for the late response. Neither currently have any use in game, but I have plans for both.

I had a fun time playing this. Really exited for more content

Bookstore quest is bugged. After selecting a reward, the game produces an error message and no navigation selections beyond that.

The error seems to stem from a missing double quote for a 'macro argument' regarding <<Quest8complete>>

Hope this helps!

(+1)

Ah yes, the ever-so-lovely missing quotation mark. I'll have a fix for that in the next update.

I'm gonna be honest, having to catch 30 fish for the fisherman quest is WAY too many for how long it takes. Something like 15 would be a lot more reasonable. That or increase the rate of hooking fish, because sometimes I sit there for over a minute with no bites. Something like the chance increasing by 5% every second to hook a fish would be nice, so it can't take longer than 20 seconds max.

(+1)

You'll be glad to know I am increasing the odds of a fish biting your line per cycle in the next update. I've had a few complaints about the difficulty/tedium of fishing (not to mention the fact that I've experienced it myself). Stay tuned!

how about charm can be trained by reading a book on creative complements?

Ugh how do I lost the wight other then starving becuse the aclamist dont sell waight loss potens.

wish working out was a LITTLE more effective at burning fat.

How do you raise INT and CHArisma?

For INT, the current method is by reading books. As for CHA, currently only situations that give CHA-based bonuses (ie the tip event at the Widdling Woodsman) give a small amount of CHA exp. Just as there aren't many places where CHA comes into use, there aren't many ways to raise CHA exp at the moment.

Really fun game, if you could add a map for Dechrau woods, that would be great. I keep getting lost trying to find the beach again.

(+1)

Just keep on heading North and you'll eventually reach it. Doesn't really matter where you are starting from in the woods, there'll always be a beach somewhere to your North.

(+2)(-1)

That I think you can make a RPG game🙃🙃🙃

(+1)

well I got as far as "A Favor for the Alchemist II: A Swell Concoction" and the game went "NOPE. This quest doesn't exist." Been a good game so far tho and looking forward to what else gets added. I would like to see if we can get companions at all and start forming our own parties.

(1 edit) (+1)

Sorry for the delayed response. Latest patch should've fixed it. However, I am also currently working on another patch that'll be out once I am satisfied with the results of today's Bug Crawl (fixed about 4-5 major bugs as of writing this).

(+1)

Oh yeah also, in regard to that last part: Stay tuned ;)

Could you please add pictures of  characters?and give us a choice about pound or kilo, please. And this game is very good

Thank you for your praise. If there is a large enough demand for it, I may add a Metric Weight option, despite my American sensibilities.

The Pictures question is a very interesting one. Currently adding pictures is a very low priority, both out of a lack of resources and a preference for Theater of the Mind. However, I have considered the option of adding pictures, in which case, I'd probably add them in the following order: Reintroduce Background Images > Enemy Portraits > NPC Portraits > NPC weight variant pictures > Player Portraits with variants for background and weights.

I have an artist working on a thumbnail for the game (same one that did the recently-added cover for The Lipomancer's Ruins), so perhaps if resources allow it, I may have them work on more art assets for the game.

this is a great game, im curious cause i noticed you play as a female as certain npc's call you ma'am, would it be possible to have an option to play as a male in the future.

(+1)

If I find someone to work on a Male character option, I'd be willing to have it added to the game. Until then, I do not currently have any intentions to personally add it into the game. Apologies to disappoint,

(+1)

im not very good at programming but if it meant an option for a male character im more than happy to help write the text for the character stages.
